Welcome to Deerfield Village’s newest residents. Clint and Amber Chiplinski have moved into Lot 39. Please make them feel welcome and glad they chose the best place in all of Shepherdstown to live!

Drive on the Streets; Park in Your Driveway or Garage

Since winter is rapidly approaching, residents are reminded that there should be no extended parking on Deerfield Village Streets. Cars parked on the streets impede snow plows, and trash/recycling vehicles. More importantly, they obstruct the safe and speedy passage of fire or emergency vehicles should they be needed. Help keep Deerfield Village an attractive and safe place to live.

The annual Deerfield Village Property Owners’ meeting was held March 2nd. If you didn’t attend, you were missed. The (draft) minutes of the meeting will be posted on this site shortly. Take a few minutes to look them over. As always, volunteers are needed to serve on various committees and to help keep Deerfield Village looking nice. Please plan to make 2010 the year you do your part to keep our neighborhoods attractive.

Deerfield Village would like to sponsor an aid station table during the Freedom Run Events on October 3rd. We need six to ten volunteers to man the station throughout the day.

The next Deerfield Village Board of Directors meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on April 6th at 43 Blossom View Court. All residents are welcome, but if you plan to attend, please call Terry Bauer in advance to ensure adequate seating.

There will be a Deerfield Village Community Meeting on 15 October (7 p.m., 61 Pathfinder Court) to discuss the Jefferson Utility rate increase. Peter Appignani, a resident of Gap View, will make a brief presentation regarding the current status of the case.Please Plan to attend.
